CK Group are recruiting for a QC Analyst to join a to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis for 18 months.
Salary: 15.67 per hour PAYE plus shift allowance.
Shift pattern:6am to 6pm on a two week rotational basis.
Week One: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday and Sunday.
Second week: Wednesday and Thursday. This then reverts back to Week One the following Monday.
Once trained the successful candidate will move to the later shift which is 12 midday - 12 midnight.
QC Analyst role:- Testing of in-process samples Raw Materials and filled product by various techniques such as T.V.A.C Bacterial Endotoxin and Sterility testing. All testing to be completed using good Aseptic technique
- Perform Environmental monitoring within Grade B D clean rooms and filling machines at the appropriate frequency.
- Compile batch summary reports ready for batch release and quality department reports to solve microbiological issues.
- Bacterial Identification Control of type cultures and in house Media QC. Media preparation and use of the autoclave.
- Provide advice to the manufacturing department on microbial hygiene and contamination control.
Your Background:
- A Degree qualified or HNC in Microbiology / Biological sciences
- Laboratory experience strongly preferred.
- Preferably pharmaceutical knowledge and experience.
- Able to communicate both orally and in the written format to personnel at all levels.
- Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving skills.
