Introduction
WAREHOUSE MANAGER (STEEL RETAIL INDUSTRY)
EPPING CAPE TOWN
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Market related salary benefits
- Matric
- Relevant Qualification ADVANTAGEOUS
- Minimum of 5 years experience as Warehouse Manager Supervisor
- Retail Steel Industry experience ESSENTIAL
- Relevant experience & knowledge of steel & tube industry & be able to identify mild steel products (sheet & plate)ESSENTIAL
- Must have excellent communication skills in English & Afrikaans
- Management of Warehouse staff compliment
- Strong managerial and leadership skills required
- Able to lead a team effectively& have a strong personality to lead
- Highly experienced on Syspro ESSENTIAL
- Computer proficiency: MS Office & Syspro
- Duties include:General warehouse management Stock control delivery scheduling staff management H & S Maintenance operations Receiving Distribution Shipping legislation requirements Produce reports & stats on all departments Monitoring & space tracking Branch stock takes Daily weekly & monthly cycle counts
- Candidates willing to relocate at their own cost will be considered
- Own reliable vehicle & valid Drivers Licence (no endorsements)
