Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description:

Create detailed 2D designs and convert them into 3D models for mechanical systems and components ensuring functionality efficiency and adherence to specifications
Oversee all stages of mechanical projects including manufacturing assembly and on-site installation for clients
Participate in concept and design reviews to ensure designs meet project requirements

Skills and Experience

Hands-on experience with 3D CAD software
Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience
Strong task and time management skills
Experience in automotive engineering development or a related field is preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant design software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor

Qualifications

B Eng Degree or B Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering
