Job Summary

Leapswitch Networks is looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Hosting Specialist/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage optimize and troubleshoot cloud hosting environments ensuring high availability security and scalability for our clients

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Deploy manage and maintain cloud hosting platforms (e.g. AWS Google Cloud Azure).
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization to ensure cost-efficiency.
Web Hosting Support:
- Set up and manage web hosting services including cPanel Plesk and custom solutions.
- Handle DNS configurations SSL installations and domain management.
Performance and Security:
- Implement best practices for cloud security including firewalls access control and encryption.
- Monitor and enhance server performance uptime and responsiveness.
Technical Support:
- Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated hosting and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer technical challenges.
Automation and Scripting:
- Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Ansible Terraform or shell scripts.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of cloud setups configurations and processes.
- Provide periodic reports on resource usage and system health.

Requirements:

Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (preferred)
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS Azure Google Cloud or equivalent.
- Experience with Linux server management.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware KVM or Hyper-V.
- Strong understanding of networking (e.g. load balancers firewalls and VPNs).
- Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
