Job Summary
Position Summary:
JGMS Government Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team as part of the Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) project which is a multi-site organization engaged in the design production testing and delivery of advanced training simulators.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical drafting
- Collaborate with other engineers to create or modify designs and drawings
- Review supplier electrical designs for adherence to technical requirements
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in performing electrical engineering drafting
- Knowledge of drafting standards and techniques
- Experience in creating or reviewing electrical engineering designs based on approved requirements
- Proficiency using SolidWorks SolidWorks Electrical and/or AutoCAD
- Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Proficiency with low voltage electrical distribution audiovisual or telecommunications
- Other
Security Clearance:
A current active DOE/DoD Security Clearance - Secret Top Secret L or Q is required.
Background Check and Screenings
A pre-employment drug screening and background review that includes checks of personal references credit law enforcement records and employment/education verification is required.
