Job Summary
FTE FTE - Certified STEM Teacher
- Hold current CT State certification in Science (0) and/or Technology Education(047)
- Middle school experience preferred
- Project Lead the Way experience preferred
- Skilled at integrating technology with 21st Century learning skills
- Creates an atmosphere conducive to exploration innovation and learning while maintaining the physical condition and organization of the classroom and materials.
- Reviews selects and acquires tools and technology to accommodate different learning styles and promote student engagement.
- Ability to use data to make instructional decisions
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to improve the learning of all students; ability to positively engage students and families in the learning process
- Proactive and flexible team player and effective communicator
- Other duties as determined by the principal
