We are in search of an experienced Machinist that will be responsible for fabrication assembly maintenance and repair of tooling used in production.

We are hiring for the day shift M F 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

We are only hiring for full time work - 40/hrs week or more overtime is available.

Hourly salary range: $29.0033.00*

*Wages are DOE subject to a variety of factors including but not limited to: Union Contract wage scale prior relevant experience skilled experience and/or certifications in specific areas of skilled manufacturing. Wage advancement and opportunity are outlined in the CBA.

We are a Union Shop. We are part of the USW Local #289 M (United Steel Paper and Forestry Rubber Manufacturing Energy Allied Industrial and Service Workers International) Union.

Job Duties will include but not be limited to:

Fabrication maintenance and repairs of production tooling through the operation of manual lathes mills surface grinders drill presses and some semi-automated machines.
Read and interpret blueprints
Use precision tools to take accurate measurements

Position Requirements:

You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this position and be able to perform the following essential tasks continuously for an 8-hour shift.
High school diploma or equivalent completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship
Ability to work independently
Strong math and analytical skills
Knowledge of the properties of metals and other materials

Stand at workstation for entire shift
Lift up to 50LBS
Work in cold winter and hot summer conditions

Job is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen within 24-hours of job offer. Pre-employment and random drug screening does not include marijuana.
