Position Overview

A healthcare facility in The Woodlands TX is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in invasive and special radiologic procedures demonstrate strong technical proficiency and adhere strictly to radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform invasive/special radiology procedures while maintaining strict radiation safety procedures.

• Prepare patients for procedures explain the process administer contrast when appropriate and ensure correct positioning and image quality.

• Select appropriate imaging techniques and maintain technical excellence throughout exams.

• Enter review and monitor patient data within departmental systems.

• Conduct quality assurance on radiology equipment and support accreditation processes (e.g. ACR).

• Report any accidents equipment malfunctions or concerns to appropriate leadership.

• Participate in emergency call rotation as required.

• Ensure safe care for patients staff and visitors by adhering to all safety policies and best practices.

• Maintain professional growth through mandatory education competencies and department initiatives.

• Serve as a preceptor/mentor to less experienced staff when needed.

• Deliver compassionate patient-centered care and contribute to a positive team environment.

• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift and maneuver patients with assistance when needed.

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or radiologic experience required.

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS or ACLS certification (required).

• Current Texas Medical Board license (MRT) or temporary MRT license (required).

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (required).
