Role Overview
As a Process Engineer you will drive improvements in production processes implement new systems and lead projects that enhance safety efficiency and quality. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams including production facilities and supply management to ensure optimal performance and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain manufacturing methods sequences and processes.
- Observe and optimize production operations to improve productivity and quality.
- Design install and commission new production tools and processes.
- Create and update work instructions and process documentation.
- Train production staff on new or updated processes.
- Analyze issues using 8D 5 Whys and other root cause tools.
- Collect and interpret production data to drive improvements.
- Lead assigned projects from start to finish collaborating with engineers and technicians.
- Ensure safety compliance and train operators on safe practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in a production engineering environment.
- Hands-on mechanical and analytical experience in lab or production settings.
- Familiarity with ceramic or industrial parts processing (preferred).
- Knowledge of SPC FMEA Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment (U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required).
