About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Structures Division overseeing complex heavy civil and structural projects including bridges retaining walls pump stations foundations and reinforced concrete work.

This senior-level position is responsible for the overall management leadership and delivery of multiple large-scale projects. The Senior Project Manager will provide direction across scheduling cost management subcontractor coordination and client relations ensuring every project is delivered safely efficiently and profitably. Experience with estimating is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning organization and execution of multiple projects in coordination with Division Managers and Estimators.

  • Establish project objectives schedules budgets and financial controls.

  • Manage all contract administration and documentation with owners subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Oversee field operations through collaboration with on-site superintendents to ensure project milestones are achieved.

  • Serve as the primary company representative with owners agencies and consultants; attend and lead weekly progress meetings.

  • Control all financial aspects of each project including job cost tracking change orders billings and collections.

  • Maintain accurate budget forecasting reporting and projections.

  • Analyze and resolve project-related issues involving labor material deliveries scheduling and contractual matters.

  • Support and review estimating scheduling and bid preparation as needed.

  • Mentor coach and develop junior project management and field staff.

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety standards quality control and compliance requirements.

  • Identify risks forecast impacts and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure timely and complete project closeout including final documentation and punch lists.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 4-7 years experience 10 years of experience preferred managing heavy civil and structural construction projects including bridges retaining walls foundations and reinforced concrete structures.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout.

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing CPM scheduling cost control and risk management.

  • Proven experience in change management forecasting and WIP analysis.

  • Familiarity with public contract code and government contract compliance.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Primavera P6 Bluebeam and related project management software.

  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.

  • Valid drivers license required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work at construction sites with regular standing and walking required.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods during project reviews or office tasks.

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 20 lbs occasionally.

  • Must be able to work safely in variable weather and field conditions.
