Job Summary
Medical Assistant (MA)
Location: Flushing NY 11355
Duration: 26 Weeks
Shift: 58 Hours 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Local Weekly Gross Pay: $1120
Position Overview
The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient or family practice setting. This role requires strong communication skills clinical competency and familiarity with electronic medical records.
Key Responsibilities
Korean language proficiency required
Assist with patient intake including vital signs height and weight
Process specimens according to clinic protocols
Support providers in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Utilize EMR systems such as EPIC and Athena
Maintain a clean and organized patient care area
Follow clinic policies and documentation standards
Experience Requirements
1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred
Outpatient or family practice experience strongly preferred
Education
High School diploma or GED required
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program
Certifications & Licensure
BLS certification required
Medical Assistant Certification preferred (AAMA-CMA AMT-RMA or equivalent)
