Our St. Mary Corwin Imaging Department is made up of 60 compassionate caregivers who share a daily common goal of offering support to each other our patients and the departments we serve. With over 9 different modalities and a wide variety of patient population our department offers professional growth opportunities to enhance your imaging skills. Our patient centric team culture is both engaged and kind which creates a family-like bond where caregivers can work independently or as a team to thoughtfully serve our patients. Join our team as a Radiology Technologist (RT). In the Radiology Technologist role you will:
- Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
- Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice.
- Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.
- Act as a clinical resource to students staff technologist and other hospital personnel.
- Assure current standards of practice for the unit.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required
- One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
- HS diploma or GED required
- Registered Technologist Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required
- Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required
Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly
