TheEffector RF DesignDepartmentis seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion todevelop complex Radio Frequency (RF) systems subsystems and components including antennas RF circuit cards and RF test-equipment. A successful candidate is one who functions in a multi-disciplined team properly applies engineering tools and processes and is a self-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to is an entry-level Mechanical Engineer position for an individual with educational experience and professional interest in the application of technical mechanical standards principles concepts and techniques.

This position is located in Tucson AZ and is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

Collaborating in a multi-discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems
Creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF products designs
Developing prototype hardware designs and coordinating fabrication
Performing hands on integration and test support for prototype hardware
Holding design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:
- Experience performing design and analysis for the packaging of RF products (e.g. Circuit Card Assemblies antennas radomes RF test equipment harnesses and interconnects) throughout the product life cycle to include three dimensional (3D) Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
- Experience with creation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for products

Qualifications We Prefer

Master of Science (MS) in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
Experience with 3D CAD design (preferably Creo Parametric).
Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging.
Experience with harness and interconnect design.
Experience creating engineering drawings.
Experience fabricating prototype designs.
Familiarity with the application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team.
Experience performing tolerance analysis.
Self-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
