What a Caregiver Does

As a Senior Helpers Caregiver you provide hands-on support that helps clients maintain independence dignity and quality of life. Responsibilities may include:

• Building meaningful relationships through conversation and companionship
• Participating in clients favorite activities and hobbies
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Assisting with walking dressing bathing and daily personal care
• Observing and reporting changes in clients physical condition mood or behavior
• Documenting care provided and communicating updates with the care team

Caregiver Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required (we train the right people)
• Reliable vehicle valid drivers license and current auto insurance
• Ability to treat clients with dignity patience and respect
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read write and speak English at an average adult level
• Punctual dependable and committed to high-quality care
