Berklee the worlds leading institution for music and performing arts education is seeking a visionary innovative and product-driven Vice President Alumni Services and Berklee Connect. This executive-level mission-driven role is critical to realizing Berklees goal of setting a new global standard for post-graduate career support for our network of 84000 alumni. The successful VP will bring an inclusive and facilitative leadership style to this transformative era under President Lucchese reinforcing our status as a global leader in creativity and innovation. The Strategic Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Institutional Advancement and serving on the Presidents Leadership Council the VP will lead a digital product-led strategy to relaunch Berklee Connect as the essential digital front door for alumni services worldwide. This requires a deep commitment to a student-centered (post-graduate) approach cultural awareness and a collaborative style to build consensus across the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute a digital product-led strategy to set a new standard for post-graduate career support globally.
- Develop a needs-based product roadmap for relaunching Berklee Connect offering services like free continuing education mentorship platforms and exclusive access to creative services.
- Create and socialize a common vocabulary for alumni segments needs and personae to prioritize service development.
- Build and manage a small agile team to develop and maintain the Berklee Connect platform.
- Serve as the chief advocate of Alumni Services externally to donors industry partners and Trustees.
What Youll Bring
We seek an executive-level representative of Berklees values with the vision communication skills and empathy to lead effectively within our diverse multicultural community.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience with a combination of experience in technology-driven creative institutions (ideally with a concentration in artist services).
- Proven track record of digital product strategy and career support/development in the creative industries.
- Demonstrated success managing large complex cross-functional projects building consensus and tight operational coordination.
- Proven ability to build mentor and develop agile high-performing teams.
- High level of cultural competence and a strong record of ethical principles; commitment to driving positive outcomes for diversity equity inclusion and belonging.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an adaptable working style.

Hiring Range: $225000 to $260000; salary dependent on relevant experience and education.
