Our team of clinicians provides more than 100000 therapy sessions each year for children and families across the country. We partner with pediatricians and schools build clinics in low-income neighborhoods and develop technology to better serve our team and patients.
We are currently transitioning into a nonprofit organization to deepen our impact. As we grow our HR team plays a critical role in supporting the employees who make this mission possible.
We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Generalist who thrives in a process-driven environment and wants their work to matter. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building systems improving workflows and supporting employees with empathy and excellence.
Manage a smooth structured onboarding process (offer letters background checks equipment system setup benefits enrollment).
Coordinate offboarding steps and ensure a compliant transition.
Improve onboarding/offboarding workflows as we scale.
Maintain accurate employee records and process all job/lifecycle changes in UKG.
Generate clean reliable HR reporting (headcount turnover leave etc.).
Administer all leaves of absence (FMLA ADA state leaves) ensuring timely communication and documentation.
Support policy updates and compliance across multiple states.
Coordinate workers compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
Handle day-to-day benefits administration (enrollments changes COBRA).
Work with vendors to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
Support open enrollment setup and communication.
Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions about policies benefits and leave.
Help reinforce a positive inclusive mission-driven culture.
Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience)
35 years of experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles
Strong working knowledge of federal & multi-state employment laws
Experience administering HRIS platforms (UKG a plus)
Hands-on experience with leave and benefits administration
High attention to detail organization and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Process improvement mindset you enjoy making systems better
Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and Word
HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
Experience in healthcare nonprofit or multi-state environments
