Job Summary

As an Operational Risk Specialist youll join a high-performing team driving the evolution of our Operational Risk Management Framework in full compliance with BACEN regulations including Res. BCB nº 265/2022 Res. CMN nº 4.557/2017 and related standards.

Youll help us identify assess and mitigate operational risks across the company with a strong focus on fraud management technology risk and AI-driven automation.

Working cross-functionally with Data Science Fraud Prevention and Engineering youll design validate and automate models and processes that strengthen resilience and make CloudWalk even smarter.

What Youll be Doing:

Design implement and maintain the Operational Risk Management Framework aligned with BACEN regulations.
Identify assess and monitor operational risk exposures: especially related to fraud and IT.
Develop and validate AI/ML models for fraud detection anomaly identification and operational risk quantification.
Build and maintain AI agents to automate risk workflows such as loss event tracking KRI monitoring and incident reporting.
Define and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
Collaborate with Data Science Engineering and Compliance to embed risk controls into product and process design.
Conduct scenario analyses and stress tests to evaluate resilience and guide management decisions.
Prepare clear and insightful risk dashboards and reports for senior management and regulators.

What Youll Need to Succeed:

Strong knowledge of BACEN operational risk regulations (Res. BCB 265/2022 Res. 4.557/2017 Circ. 3.978/2020 and related standards).
Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem acquirers sub-acquirers and issuers.
Proven experience in fraud prevention and detection across the full lifecycle (onboarding monitoring disputes and recovery).
Expertise in ML/AI model development and validation for fraud and operational risk.
Strong programming and data analysis skills (Python SQL R) for simulation validation and automation.
Ability to design and deploy AI agents for risk automation.
Knowledge of IT and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST COBIT ISO 27001) and how they integrate with operational risk.
Experience managing KRIs RCSAs and risk dashboards for management and regulatory reporting.
Analytical and critical thinker turning complex data into clear insights.
Hands-on and execution-focused iterating fast to deliver results.
