Intern Visual Designer

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering business team. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Tikkie Inter Milan Hubo and Lufthansa.

JOB PURPOSE

Looking to kick off your creative career as a visual designer Join our talent program designed to shape you into a next-level visual designer. Well give you all the attention feedback GIFs and high fives you need to grow into a standout professional. Our goal To help you reach your full potential.

During this internship youll be trading training wheels for turbojets. One minute youre designing slick responsive screens in Figma the next youre making a killer presentation for a client meeting. Need to show how a concept feels Fire up a click-through prototype add a buttery-smooth transition to your prototype or fine-tune micro-interactions in Jitter. Feel like pushing boundaries Play with component variants build up a dynamic design system or design a wild visual screen that breaks the grid.

From day one youll be paired with a dedicated mentor for 1-on-1 coaching and join a team of 40 passionate designers always ready to help.

By the end of your internship youll have gained valuable experience in the field worked on projects for A-list clients and built a portfolio that truly turns heads.

The closing date for this position is 23rd December.

Note: to be eligible for this internship you are required to be living and studying in the Netherlands.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Dive into exciting projects for clients like Tikkie Inter Milan Hubo and Lufthansa.
• Design of creative concepts presentations and various animations.
• Designing responsive interfaces based on wireframes made by a UX designer.
• Transforming a visual identity into a usable interface for a website or app.
• Crafting interactive prototypes with best of class UI animations.
• If you want to do your graduation assignment in addition to the internship it is important that you know what you want and proactively think along with us to create a clear internship assignment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Are passionate/crazy/nuts about visual design.
• You have a proactive attitude are naturally curious and are aware of the latest trends within the design field.
• Have an impressive portfolio or have worked on a number of cool (digital) projects.
• You have a specific passion and relevant experience in crafting User Interfaces and digital experiences.
• A keen eye for typography color schemes visual hierarchy and design rationales. You combine these visual elements effortlessly into digital components.
• Get excited working with and building up Style Guides Component Variations and Design Systems.
• Have experience in working with leading design tools such as Figma. Experience with animation software like Jitter or Principle is a plus. A keen interest in AI is also highly valued.
• You are looking for an internship - this can be a graduation or normal internship.
  
  

Hard Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship
• Availability of 5 days per week (40h) from February 2026 for a duration of 5 months.
• You speak English fluently - whether youre writing presenting or just chatting with the team.
