Your key responsibilities include:
Strategic business partnership: Act as a key strategic partner in the leadership team. Provide support to shape and deliver on the local and regional strategy agenda goals and long-term business plan including market insights and recommendations.
Strategic Commercial Business Partnership: Act as an enabler and partner to the commercial team in order to execute the affiliate business plan in an accurate and creative way.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead coach and mentor the finance team. Set clear performance goals foster a culture of diversity and inclusion and actively support the development and growth of your team members.
Financial optimization and value creation: Guide sound financial decisions by leading forecasting processes analyzing financial data and identifying opportunities to maximize Roches value.
Transformation & Agile Leadership: Drive business transformation by championing and embedding agile methodologies fostering a creative and empowered mindset and focusing the team on high-impact value-driven work.
Governance & Risk Management: Ensure effective financial governance internal controls and risk management across the affiliate aligning with all local regulations and global best practices.
Financial Operations & Reporting: Oversee all core accounting operations ensuring accurate and timely monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting (in accordance with local statutory requirements and Group standards). Lead external audit processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure the finance team maintains a complete understanding of all critical business challenges. Collaborate with local regional and global finance communities to lead and contribute to above-country initiatives and drive process improvements.
This is the kind of expertise and experience you bring:
Broad Finance & Business Partner knowledge and experience preferably within the healthcare industry.
University degree in Business or Accounting CPA/ ACCA is a plus.
Proven leadership experience with multiple years of successfully leading finance teams with complex matrix organization.
Capability to bring agile ways of working to life foster empowered decision-making and cultivate a creative mindset.
Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and inspiring curiosity that motivates others.
Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels and to position ideas and manage expectations in line with an agreed portfolio.
Strong learning agility and a passion for coaching and developing team members.
Fluency in written and spoken English and experience working in more than one country.
Fluency in written and spoken Hebrew is a big advantage.
