The Role:
As a Software Architect youwill serve as an authoritative expert and leader in software architecture overseeing complex and critical projects. This role is responsible for software strategic planning design development collaboration and communication.
Security Clearance Required
- Due to federal contract requirements applicants must be U.S. persons and eligible for a U/S. security clearance
Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of project requirements and the designof software architectures.
- Drive the selection of appropriate technologiesframeworks and tools.
- Conduct and lead architectural reviews discussions andprovide expert guidance.
- Plan software design and development work with:
- Evaluate and integrate third-party software componentsAPIs and services.
- Document and communicate software architecturesensuring alignment with project goals.
- Apply advanced architectural principles design patternsand coding standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architecturaldocumentation and guidelines.
- Oversee and ensure the correct implementation of thesoftware architecture by the development team.

Skills & Experience
- US Citizenship - requirements of our US Government customers
- Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD Security Clearance
- A bachelors degree in Computer Science SoftwareEngineering or a related field.
- Advanced degree a Plus
- 15 years of demonstrated experience in a Software Engineering environment
- DoD software engineering experience is highly desirable
- A distinguished record of leadership marked by thementorship of junior mid-level and senior SW engineersand architects.
- Exceptional knowledge of software design patternsarchitectural concepts and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along withthe ability to influence and inspire teams.
- Proven track record of visionary leadership and strategicin software architecture.
- An unwavering commitment to advancing softwarearchitecture practices and innovation.
