Job Summary
Description of the role:
Preferred Care at Home of Monmouth and Ocean County is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Toms River New Jersey. As a Caregiver you will provide assistance and support to our clients in their homes helping them with daily tasks and personal care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including meal preparation companionship and medication reminders
- Help clients with personal care tasks such as bathing grooming and dressing
- Monitor and report changes in clients health or behavior
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
