Job Description Summary
Reporting to an SVP of Programs within the Solutions Division the Vice President of Rural and Tribal Communities will identify set goals implement and be responsible for the achievement of strategic objectives and outcomes focused on Enterprises strategic vision on addressing housing needs including expanding housing options within Indian Country and rural communities across the country.Job Description
Key responsibilities
Set the strategies and superviseteams responsible forthe planning implementation scaling and evaluation of complex and diversified programsand local activitiesrelated torural and tribal housing needsincluding ensuring thatobjectivesand outcomes are achieved across Enterprise workstreams.
OverseeSr.Directors andDirectorsto design and implement shortmedium and long-termobjectivesand goals for existing and emerging programsand ensureobjectivesand goals areachieved.
Lead the engagement withother Enterprise teams andworkexternallytoidentifyand recruit communities for technicalassistanceand in-depth advisory servicesforrural and tribalrelated engagements providingstrategic direction on the proposed scopes of work aligned with organizational goals.
Shape systems changeeffortsincluding advancing policy recommendations at federalstateand local levels.
Prioritizeassessanddeterminethe strategic direction ofrural and tribalefforts across the organization based on data collected evaluation andimplementationsuccess.
Work closely with the Resource Development Marketing and Communications Department (RDMC) SVP Programs VPs andDirectors andSr.Directors division wide to co-collaborativelybuild programs efforts and activitiesacross the division and geographies.
Develop andoverseebudgetsalong withall grants and contracts management.
Ensure the efficiency of implementation and accountability ofrural and tribalwork acrossEnterprise.
Follow and communicate rural and tribal housing and communitydevelopmenttrendsand how theyimpactEnterprisesstrategies andpriorities.
Serve as subject matter expert indivision-wide forums and processes (including peer networks communities of practice Solutions Training Academy intake process).
Represent Enterprise in external meetings with both housing service philanthropy investors and other partnersincluding workshops conferences and other eventsas well as through thought leadership.
Manageteam goalsmetricsand milestones through goal setting ongoing assessment and communication. Use judgement to continue or redirect team efforts to achieve programand relatedgoals.
Build trustand collaborationamong teammembersand between teams acrossEnterprise.
Manage a clear set of roles and responsibilities within therural and tribalteamsto drive towardsgoals;and create meaningful opportunities for team members to learn and grow.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years leadership experience in nonprofit governmenttribalor philanthropyoverseeing multiple programscontractsand activitiesideallyat an organizationservingruraltribalorlow-income communities.
Bachelors degree;an advanceddegree incommunity development planning real estatefinanceor a related field is strongly desired.
Demonstratedtrack recordof collaboration withmulti-sector partners.
Comprehensive working knowledge of program planning organizational structure budgeting and administrative operations.
Knowledge and experience with rural and Native American focused financing resources.
Experienceleadingothers to new levels of effectiveness and programmatic impact.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to represent the organization externally across a wide range of stakeholders and constituencies.
Strong relationshipbuilderwith the ability to find common ground buildconsensusand strengthen collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
Strong community awareness and astuteness.

Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family.
The base salary for this role is $185000 to $230000 depending on level of skills and experience.
The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills education location experience and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
