For our Building Solutions division in Budapest we are having an opportunity to join our team as a Field Service Engineer (mfd) HVAC / Building Automation.
In this position your key responsibilities will include servicing and maintaining Honeywell and third-party equipment according to your trade expertise. You will prepare shop drawings and application projects specifically for smaller scale projects supervise field installation and cabling and determine equipment and accessory needs for implementation while informing your supervisors in a timely manner. Additionally you will carry out design work and programming for HVAC controllers fire panels and access control panels install EBI and prepare graphics and necessary programming work as per specifications. You will also be required to be present on the job site during temporary or final acceptance of the small jobs.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert support for emergency repairs maintenance testing engineering programming designing and start-up of various electrical and mechanical equipment and systems including software
- Diagnose and repair equipment and systems that other service technicians cannot handle
- Offer technical training coaching and guidance to other service engineers technicians and subcontractors
- Work on-site at the clients location in Budapest and the surrounding area
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering mechatronics or security engineering or a comparable qualification also in line with practical experience
- 3-4 years of practical experience preferably within HVAC / building automation
- 2 years of HVAC related programing experience (e.g. DDC PLC Scada HMI) and experience in bus communication (e.g. Modbus BACnet LonWorks)
- Medium electrical skills (reading electrical cabinet designs troubleshooting complex control system cabinets) and general mechanical (HVAC pumps valves fans etc.) knowledge
- Valid car driving license
- Initiative creativity flexibility teamwork and organizational skills
- Fluent Hungarian and good English language skills
