UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the areas clinics are improving outcomes lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. Overview

• Part-time Position
• Growing practice

• Clinic Hours: M-F 8a-5p

• Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• 12-16 patients/day
• Occasional outreach clinic coverage
• 1 Physician and 1 APP rounding on inpatients each week
• 1:4 call schedule requirement
• Procedures; TEE and Vascular Studies optional NOT required
• 50% of clinic schedule left open each day to accommodate same-day study add-ons
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work as a team member
