Im Alexandra Fürst Telia Group Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO) and Im searching for you who are ready to grow and thrive with us. Were a delivery-oriented forward-thinking team focused on forming and driving a holistic and strategic view on technologies for the whole of Telia. Now I am expanding my direct management team and I am looking for Head of Technology Security / CISO who will be responsible for security governance assurance and compliance as well as security operating center for the group. You will lead and coordinate Information Security activities in Technology with a focus on the common assets across Technology. You will also work with Information Security risks and issue group-wide security policies and instructions and develop and deliver group-wide security awareness trainings.

What youll do:

Technology CISO will lead and coordinate Information Security activities in Technology with focus on the common assets across Technology based on e.g. priorities and requirements from Countries and CTIO.

• Maintain a comprehensive view of security across the Technology domain.

• Issue group-wide security policies and instructions on behalf of the Group General Counsel ensuring strong security governance.

• Coordinate and harmonize security requirements from local markets driving related activities and assurance within Technology.

• Design and deliver group-wide security awareness training programs.

• Serve as the single point of contact for all security-related inquiries from countries to Technology.

• Lead key security metrics compliance monitoring and risk governance for Technology.

• Drive successful implementation automation and rollout of security controls across the organization while ensuring domain owners manage their respective areas and first-line security execution in IT Networks Products and local markets.

• Oversee Security Operations including Vulnerability Management Penetration Testing CERT & DDoS response Cyber Threat Intelligence and Security Engineering.

Tech CISO is part of the Technology Management Team and reports to CTIO. The position is located in Solna Sweden.

We are looking for a business-oriented security leader with the ability to align security strategy with business goals balance risk and growth and deliver measurable impact.

• Experience: 10 years in security roles 5 years in senior leadership; proven results in complex environments. Previous working experience in security area from at least one of the Telia markets is .

• Business Orientation: Strong ability to align security strategy with business goals balance risk and growth and drive measurable impact. A successful track record of creating results in technical and complex environments.

• Leadership & Collaboration: Inspiring leader with solid experience managing teams and influencing across functions; ability to find alignment and reach agreements across stakeholder landscape keep stakeholders informed on a timely basis as well as influence and drive change across cross-functional teams. Execution-focused with getting it done attitude and with an owner mindset.

• Technical & Governance Expertise: Deep knowledge of security governance assurance compliance and security operations; ability to embed security into IT network and product architectures. Technical knowledge of Security is necessary as well as understanding business architecture and good knowledge of Agile WoW and the SAFe framework. Knowledge of security on the what but also on the how and ability to become operational and get security implemented is a requirement.

• Communication: Excellent skills for engaging executives and technical teams; fluent in English (written and spoken) as this is the main working language. Additional Telia market language is a plus Swedish language skill is desirable. • Education & Certifications: Master of Science Information Security IT or a related field is required. Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP CISM or an equivalent is preferred

• Head of Technology Security / CISO must be eligible to work in the relevant jurisdiction and have the availability to respond to security incidents outside of regular business hours as necessary.
