Job Summary
Make a Real Impact as a Science Tutor.
Are you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students with SEN or SEHM needs We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. Youll provide personalised 1:1 support in Science for GCSE students. These in-person sessions in Hammersmith and Fulham offer the chance to work closely with students helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
- This job is in-person in the Hammersmith and Fulham area.
- Day(s): Mondays
- Time(s): After 4:30pm (1hr per week)
- Subject and Level: GCSE English
- Start date: Immediate Start
- Contract length: 10 weeks
- Rate of pay: 30 p/hr.
What Youll Do
- Provide 1 hour of tuition a week that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor progress produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject tuition in
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements
Were looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelors degree
- 1 years of tutoring / teaching experience.
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The right to be self employed in the UK
