Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking School Registered Nursefor an exciting job in Burbank IL.

Responsibilities

Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student throughout the school day including during bus transportation.
Begin and end each shift at the students home to support safe transport.
Monitor and manage medical needs including:
- Seizure activity
- Blood glucose monitoring
- Medication administration
- Feeding support (oral or tube feeding if required)
Provide hygiene and personal care assistance (toileting diapering lifting positioning).
Maintain ongoing health monitoring documentation and communication with educational staff and guardians.
Follow the students individualized healthcare plan and report any health changes or concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate nursing records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Participate in care planning meetings and required trainings.
Ensure student safety at all times including during transitions and classroom activities.

Required Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
Experience with pediatric special needs or medically fragile populations preferred
Ability to lift position and provide hands-on physical assistance
Strong communication documentation and independent decision-making skills
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with school staff and families
