Job Summary
Position Description:
CGI is a forward-thinking organization committed to delivering robust IT infrastructure solutions. We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with deep expertise in Pure Storage arrays and VMware ESX virtualization platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the stability performance and scalability of our enterprise storage and virtualization infrastructure.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade systems including provisioning performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Administer VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter environments ensuring optimal configuration and uptime.
Perform capacity planning monitoring and reporting for storage and virtualization resources.
Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for virtualized environments.
Collaborate with network security and application teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
Apply patches upgrades and firmware updates to maintain system health and security.
Document configurations processes and best practices for operational excellence.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
5 years of experience in system administration with a focus on storage and virtualization.
Hands-on experience with Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade.
Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi vCenter and related tools.
Proficiency in SAN/NAS concepts Fibre Channel and iSCSI protocols.
Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
