Job Description: Manager Training & Collections

AFM increases our clients cash flow and profitability by collecting delinquent receivables including disputed aged or avoidant file balances. The Role:
AFM is seeking a Training and Collections Manager to lead manage and take full accountability for new hire training ongoing employee development and the performance of the collections team. This is a hybrid role that involves conducting new hire training overseeing file management auditing portfolios evaluating collection call recordings overseeing ongoing employee development and ensuring assigned accounts are worked in alignment with AFMs collection strategy and client expectations. The Training and Collections Manager will also be responsible for team training and development driving operational efficiency and maintaining compliance standards. This position reports directly to AFMs Senior Vice President of Operations Al Rossman.
Requirements:
- Experience conducting new hire training classes and ongoing employee development
- Ability to manage a team of collectors and achieve assigned revenue goals
- Must develop and document professional training curriculum and materials
- Understanding of core collection KPIs and actions necessary to impact results
- Growth mindset
- Collection industry background
- Collection oversight experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Operates with integrity and a respectful attitude
- Client-focused
- Forward-thinking team player with a strong work ethic
- Strong sense of personal accountability and holds accountability with direct reports
