Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Location: Fort Myers FL
Type: Contract (12-hour Night Shifts)
Pay Rate: From $52/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse Labor and Deliveryfor an exciting Travel job inFort Myers FL.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients including antepartum intrapartum and postpartum care.
Monitor maternal and fetal status using appropriate assessment techniques and electronic fetal monitoring.
Administer medications interventions and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Collaborate with physicians midwives and multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding labor delivery postpartum care and newborn care.
Respond to emergencies and high-acuity situations in a timely and competent manner.
Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR (Epic) and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Float to sister campuses as needed to support unit staffing requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience; prior travel experience required
Active RN license
BLS ACLS NRP required
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required); AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring and EFM Certification (preferred)
Ability to manage high-acuity patients
Proficiency in EMR systems preferably Epic

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree accreditation OR 5 years of nursing experience
Strong adaptability to unit culture and teamwork
