EHS Manager - Environmental Health and Safety

Purpose of Position
The EHS Manager is responsible for developing implementing and maintaining environmental health and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer standards. This role ensures the facility operates safely sustainably and efficiently while meeting internal and external reporting obligations.

Scope
This role applies to the individual designated as the EHS Manager is authorized to make decisions related to EHS compliance facility safety and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
*Environmental Health and Safety Leadership: Serve as the primary EHS representative and ensure compliance with OSHA EPA Fire Code TCPA and other regulations.
*Customer Platform Management: Utilize platforms such as Ecovadis and CDP for reporting compliance data and safety metrics.
*Safety Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze key safety indicators prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
*Utilities & Resource Management: Monitor and optimize utility consumption and implement eco-friendly practices.
*Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Lead audits inspections and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.

KPIs & Measurable Goals
*Maintain Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) below industry benchmark.
*Achieve zero lost-time incidents annually.
*100% on-time submission of EHS data to customer platforms (Ecovadis CDP).
*Ensure 100% completion of annual safety training for all employees.


Skills and Qualifications
*Education: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health & Safety or related field (or equivalent experience).
*Experience: Minimum 5 years in EHS management within manufacturing or a similar industry.
*Certifications: OSHA 30-hour EHS certifications (preferred).
*Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHS reporting platforms (Ecovadis DCP) MS Office Suite and data analytics.
*Soft Skills: Strong leadership communication and problem-solving abilities.

*Compliance Expertise: Deep understanding of EHS regulations and customer compliance requirements.
*Analytical Skills: Skilled in data interpretation and trend analysis for continuous improvement.
