Junior DevOps/Cloud Engineer

Work experience: min 1 year max 3 years

We are looking for Junior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

Responsibilities:

Assist in building maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines.
Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance availability and security.
Support cloud-based and on-premise environments.
Based on business needs travel within and outside the country may be required

Requirements:

Basic Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI Jenkins).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform Ansible).
Basic Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with scripting languages (Python Bash Go or similar).
Basic understanding of networking and security principles.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Competencies:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Eagerness to learn and improve DevOps best practices.
