Location/Division Specific Information:

As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG) the High Point NC site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.

How Will You Make an Impact

The Post Production Associate II will be responsible for inspecting product cleaning trays/deeps and operation the tray inspection machine to ensure quality of product.

A Day in the Life:

  • Inspect capsules on inspection trays removes defects such as odd shapes transfer marks and leakers.
  • Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs Batch Records cGMPs and MSDS memos.
  • Clean used trays/deeps sweep capsules from floor removed lodged capsules in equipment.
  • Operates deepless rooms with vision system sample and test product and operate box maker machine and transfer information to SAP.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to interpret data perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills
  • The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour 7 day per week operation.
  • Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Close and color vision is required
  • Repetitive motions over a prolonged period including overhead lifting and reaching
