Senior Test Engineer Cox Automotive Europe

Location:Leeds or Manchester - Hybrid (UK-based)

At Cox Automotive Europe we develop cutting-edge platforms that power our wholesale and auction businesses enabling hundreds of vehicle transactions daily across the UK. Were looking for a Senior Test Engineer who is passionate about test automation quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement test strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage and high-quality releases.
Develop and execute automated test cases using modern frameworks and tools.
Perform API testing regression testing and exploratory testing where required.
Collaborate with developers product managers and stakeholders in an Agile Scrum environment.
Drive improvements in test automation frameworks and mentor junior engineers.

Essential Skills

Strong experience in test automation and programming (C# preferred).
Hands-on experience with Playwright/Cypress Postman SoapUI and RestSharp.
Familiarity with Docker GIT and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
Knowledge of performance testing tools like K6.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable: Database knowledge risk-based testing and experience with complex integrations.
