Job Summary
Description of the role:
Automotive dealership is seeking a Warranty Administrator to process warranty claims via Reynolds & Reynolds DMS and GM Global Warranty Management.
Responsibilities:
- Submitting warranty repair orders that have been screened corrected and verified to be GM warranty compliant.
- Communicate with technicians about warranty ROs3 Cs GM labor time guide and related warranty repair order requirements.
- Assist the accounting department withmanaging the warranty schedule.
- Work with the technicians advisors and management about deficiencies that are commonly found with warranty repair orders.
- Assist management in developingprocesses to limit the corrections needed to process warranty repair orders.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a GM warranty administrator role is mandatory.
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with technicians advisors and management.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive service and repair processes and procedures.
- Knowledge and understanding of GM Policies & Procedures.
- Honesty and solid work ethic.
