Metro has an immediate opening for a part-time experienced Acupuncturist in our Riverhead office. You will be responsible for treatments with needles / e-stim / cupping Initials / reevaluations / daily notes tracking and working alongside a team of physical and occupational therapists.
Job Type: Part time with full time potential
Schedule: Flexible to be discussed
Pay: $35-$50/hr

Essential Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for the evaluation and treatment of patients needing Acupuncturist services.
- Diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal conditions of spinal column and extremities to prevent disease and correct abnormalities of the body.
- Examines patients to determine nature and extent of disorder.
- Performs diagnostic procedures including physical neurological and orthopedic examinations.
- Treatment of general medicine and internal medicine conditions including but not limited to gyno gastro pulmonary and cardiac.
- Enhance and expand patient relations when possible.
- Perform any other duties as needed and/or requested by Metros Management team.
Qualifications :
- Masters Degree in Acupuncture required
- Certified Acupuncturist credentialed from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years performing acupuncture required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
