TheDivision of Health Sciences and Outdoor Studiesat Maryville College a selective four-year liberal arts college committed to superior teaching invites applications for a2-year Visiting Lecturer of Physical Education/Health with K-12 Teacher Licensurepositionbeginning in August candidates will have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts setting.Candidates must have at least 3years of K-12 teaching experience and hold a masters degree in education or in a related discipline includingcurriculum/instructionparks recreation and tourismoutdoor educationexercise scienceor health and wellness.

Teaching responsibilities include a combination of coursessuch asphysical education for childrenphysical education ingames/activities/sports health issues in educationandintroduction to health education. Additionallythis position willbe responsibleforcontent supervisionofPE/Health and Wellnessteachercandidatesincollaboration withtheDivision ofEducation andpartneringschool position playsa key role in strengthening community partnerships and expanding learning opportunities for teacher candidates.Maryville College is recognized in the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification and is committed tooutreach tolocal national and global communities.
