Job Description Summary
The Early Career Training is a 6-12 month program and it is an investment in young talents where GE Vernova trains fresh graduates who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a GE Vernova business. The traineeship duration varies upon business requirement and will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide hands-on exposure to project execution installation and commissioning activities. Trainees will develop a deep understanding of engineering processes project management and technical coordination across various project execution phases gaining valuable on-the-job knowledge and experience under the supervision of senior project managers.Job Description
Responsibilities
What youll do
Support the project team in end-to-end project execution activities from planning through commissioning.
Outage preparation support coordinate parts demand and logistics.
Participate in project scheduling progress tracking and coordination between engineering sourcing and site teams.
Follow up on equipment deliveries logistics and site readiness to ensure timely project milestones
Follow up on event management & tools issues as they arise and work on resolution.
Applicant might be attending customer meetings and site visits.
Support site installation and commissioning teams by tracking punch items NCRs and progress reports.
Contribute to environmental health and safety compliance and documentation.
Participate in project review meetings and customer interface discussions alongside senior engineers.
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve technical issues and implement design updates.
Candidate is expected to rotate between multiple business functions throughout their training (ie Project Management Engineering sourcing).
What youll bring:
BS Engineering Industrial Mechanical or Electrical or related engineering background preferred.
Basic Experience in related field.
Active listener with good communication skills in English.
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Proactive with high level of integrity.
Strives to achieve Project goals and Customer satisfaction.
A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teams.
Displays willingness to work in harsh environments on as needed basis.
The legal right to work in Bahrain without company sponsorship or time restriction.
What will make you stand out:
Basic power generation and gas turbine knowledge is preferred.
Eagerness to work in dynamic project environments (both office and site)
Bahrain National preferred.
