What Youll Be Doing

  • Provide mechanical engineering services for multi-discipline building design projects across commercial institutional and government sectors.

  • Execute all phases of mechanical design from concept through construction documents under guidance of senior engineers.

  • Prepare and review technical drawings specifications and calculations to ensure code compliance and accuracy.

  • Select and lay out mechanical systems exploring alternative approaches as needed.

  • Conduct code analyses and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.

  • Participate in client meetings to define project scope and validate design needs.

  • Supervise and guide support staff on technical tasks and problem-solving.

  • Provide construction-phase engineering support including field visits and RFI responses.

  • Assist with bidding processes by preparing addenda reviewing submissions and supporting bid evaluations.

  • Adhere to quality control procedures project budgets and schedules.

What Youll Bring to the Job

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

  • 3 years of experience in mechanical design for institutional industrial or commercial environments.

  • EIT certification (or eligibility to obtain one).

  • Working knowledge of building systems codes and Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active or obtainable security clearance.
