Job Summary
Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Houma LA
Type: Contract
Pay Rate From: $33/hr

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an assignment in Houma LA.
Requirements:
Active PTA license (LA state or compact as applicable)
Minimum 12 years of recent PTA experience in a clinical or rehab setting
Required: BLS certification
Ability to follow treatment plans and document patient progress accurately
Strong communication and patient interaction skills
Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapist with implementing individualized treatment plans
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training
Monitor document and report patient progress
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
Maintain safe therapy environment and ensure equipment readiness
Collaborate with PTs and interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes
