Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides numerical control machining and programming technical expertise to support the design and manufacture of parts and assemblies.
• Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
• Plans creates verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD) geometry and documentation that directs the operations of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts tools and assemblies.
• Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods processes software and equipment.
• Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• 1 years of experience with computer aided design (CAD) tools for the design of undefined
• Ability to read understand and interpret engineering drawings.
• 1 years experience utilizing CAD/CAM software (preferred CATIA Vericut simulation MasterCAM).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Associate degree or higher.
• 4 years experience utilizing CATIA V5 NC Programming and Vericut within a 5-axis machining environment.
• 4 years experience with the set-up maintenance trouble shooting and repair of machine tools.
• Previous metrology experience including application of GD&T.
