Job Description: Big Data Developer (Transaction Reporting)
Location: Málaga Spain
Working Model: Hybrid (1 day per week onsite)
Role Overview
As a Big Data Developer (Transaction Reporting) you will join the Regulatory and Compliance Technology team at Virtusa. You will play a key role in building and optimizing business applications ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting mission-critical transaction reporting systems. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment combining technical expertise with strategic problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Full software lifecycle development: problem analysis solution design development testing and production deployment.
- Collaborate with users to understand technological needs and deliver strategic solutions.
- Optimize and analyze code with advanced techniques: threat modeling exhaustive SAST Sonar.
- Plan and execute projects using Agile methodology.
- Manage internal tools to document ALM across all project phases.
- Provide support for incidents including planned interventions.
- Execute unit integration and regression tests.
- Manage tools to promote releases across environments.
Experience Required
- 2 years of experience as a Big Data Developer.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Telecommunications Mathematics or related fields.
