About the Role:
As the Security/Orderly Officer youll deliver a combination of security and patient care services that support the effective efficient and safe functioning of the Health Unit. Youll assist clients with sensitivity and professionalism ensuring their safety and wellbeing in line with hospital policies and procedures. A key part of your role will involve responding calmly to challenging situations including assisting with the de-escalation of aggressive or agitated behaviour to maintain a peaceful and safe environment.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team youll use sound judgement clear communication and the correct methods and equipment to uphold the highest standards of safety dignity and care for all.
