About the role
You will contribute to research activities associated with projects undertaken by the National Centre for Reconciliation Truth and Justice providing culturally responsive skills and support for research / evaluation projects supporting the work of the Professorial Research Fellow.
Travel to research partner locations may be required including interstate travel.
You will:
demonstrate cultural responsiveness in all aspects of research activities;
manage key aspects of research projects under the direction of the research project leader;
contribute to the publication and presentation of research outcomes through journal and conference presentations; and
participate in research team project meetings and provide secretarial services for meetings.
About you
You will possess demonstrated experience and ability to apply cultural responsiveness in research and workplace settings including respectful communication collaboration with diverse communities and consideration of cultural perspectives in tasks and decision-making.
You will possess demonstrated:
ability to work independently as well as part of a team and maintain confidential information;
ability to set priorities manage time and meet deadlines in a timely manner;
experience in computer usage and Microsoft Office products; and
excellent written and oral communication skills.
