What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the this vital role you will be responsible for:

  • Translates Amgen affiliate and brand strategy into regional plans (to deliver successful treatments)
  • Analyses the sales performance of the relevant brands in the territory and identifies key levers for action (including healthcare developments like VBHC and HIC policies)
  • Keeps business unit team advised and informed by constant feedback of any market changes / competitor activity relevant to strategy implementation and development. Clearly communicates needs and opportunities for strategies and plans to BUM.
  • Stablish a solid communication with XF team to ensure appropriate brands performance.
  • Ensures execution of the Marketing/Commercial tactics by development of territory plans (Plan of Actions) with team members.
  • Ensure commercial programs are updated and competitive for Biosimilars products.
  • Ensure key accounts prioritization and delivers results for relevant accounts.
  • Leads approved budgets to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet the plan and financial control.
  • Plans allocates and monitors team expenses budget to ensure budgetary control.
  • Supervises progress of marketing messages and programs by evolving adoption ladder in costumer profiling.
  • Monitors implementation of plan of actions travel needs and support throughout sales cycles and ensures budget spend within agreed time costs compliance and quality parameters.
  • Monitors evaluates and acts on field force metrics and standards to increase sales force effectiveness from a quantitative and qualitative perspective.
  • Builds a successful sales team by recruiting and selecting candidates and optimally on-boarding new hires.
  • Coaches and motivates team members to achieve/exceed territory goals and optimize individual and team engagement.
  • Conducts annual and ongoing performance reviews and capability assessment within the framework of Amgens performance management process.
  • Develop individual team members to continuously improve overall level of performance in their role and for future (talent) development.
  • Supports the team members on external key customer visits as needed.
  • Takes leadership in customer engagement strategies & personal external partner management.
  • Travel to different locations including Cuernavaca Toluca Oaxaca Villahermosa and Tuxtla to support business needs and ensure successful execution of regional plans.
  • Budget spent within agreed parameters.
  • TAMs expenses.
  • Implementation of POA for region.
  • PSR recruitment/disciplinary procedures.
  • Agreed regional sales goals and other performance expectations.
  • Market dynamics feedback according to HCPs and key accounts input.
  • Administration and reporting requirements.
  • Compliance with Amgen policies and procedures.
  • Individual team member performance objectives.
  • MAP appraisal and development plans.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree OR
  • Masters degree and 3 years of experience similar position in an international environment Or
  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience similar position in an international environment Or
  • Associates degree and 10 years of experience similar position in an international environment Or
  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience similar position in an international environment
  • And Previous managerial experience directly managing people and/or experience leading teams projects programs or directing the allocation of resources.
  • Very good solid understanding of English both in oral and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong XF networking.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing roles (private and hospital market) leading a sales team.
  • Key account mapping and results accountability
  • Bachelors degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences.
  • Relative experience in relevant therapy area.
  • Experience in interacting with various disciplines and organizational levels.
  • Experience in project management.
