Employment Type: Part-time Employment (20 hours/Weekly)
Work Setup:
Onsite onboarding for 1-2 days followed by a transition to a remote setup.
Work schedule: Night Shift (Following Pacific Time Zone - 8:00 AM PST)

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to handle bookkeeping and accounting support for our core business: labor compliance local worker hire diverse business engagement and project-labor agreement solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a construction/project-based environment using QuickBooks Online issuing invoices to clients reconciling expenses and tracking job-site and internal overhead costs. Accuracy confidentiality and initiative are essential.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online including chart of accounts maintenance and transaction categorization.
  • Prepare issue and follow-up on client invoices in alignment with MICSs service delivery.
  • Reconcile bank credit-card and vendor expense records ensuring documentation is properly stored and organized.
  • Assist with job costing: allocate job site overhead internal office overhead and track cost of projects to support decision-making.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records and support periodic review by leadership.
  • Ensure data security and confidentiality of financial information at all times.
  • Communicate proactively with internal team members to clarify transactions and support streamlined workflows.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in the related field is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Experience supporting U.S. accounting and tax workflows
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online (required).
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn job costing/project-based accounting (construction/ labor compliance industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and inherently reliable.
  • Excellent English communication (both written and spoken).

  • Dependable consistent and deadline-oriented
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
