Job Summary
Overview
The Senior Project Superintendent oversees all field operations-from pre-construction through close-out ensuring projects are delivered safely on schedule and to quality standards. This role partners with the Project Manager to execute project plans and leads field teams with a focus on safety quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Field Oversight
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules and look-ahead plans.
- Supervise field staff manage trade sequencing and ensure efficient project execution.
- Promote and enforce safety standards in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
Pre-Construction
- Conduct site assessments and develop logistics and milestone schedules.
- Review drawings specifications and constructability issues.
- Collaborate on labor planning general conditions and subcontractor scope reviews.
Construction
- Implement and maintain the project QA/QC and safety programs.
- Oversee RFIs submittals and project documentation.
- Conduct inspections and manage pre-punch list completion.
Post-Construction
- Oversee punch list completion final inspections and permit close-out.
- Verify as-built accuracy and coordinate system commissioning and owner training.
Qualifications
- 10 years of commercial construction experience including 5 years in a superintendent leadership role.
- Proven success managing large complex projects (data centers mission-critical or similar).
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
