About the Team
The Subscriptions Product team at Roku is focused on growing Rokus subscriptions business by creating extraordinary experiences that allow our viewers to purchase and engage with subscription services. We collaborate closely with Engineering UX Legal Business teams and partners to deliver high-quality features and capabilities our users love.
About the Role
Were seeking a Senior Product Manager of Consumer Payments & Retention to own payment experience compliance and drive subscription retention efforts across the Roku ecosystem.
For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $204000 - $255000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set certifications and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance equity awards life insurance disability benefits parental leave wellness benefits and paid time off.
What Youll Be Doing
- Implement new payment methods wherever subscriptions from Roku are available to increase purchase conversion
- Drive method of payment enhancements giving users a choice on how they purchase on Roku
- Define and ship retention mechanismssmart cancellation save offers win back pathways and seamless discovery/subscription into other services
- Lead strategy and experience to maximize accounts with high-quality payment methods on file improving payment success and customer lifetime value
- Run A/B tests to quantify the impact of features and capabilities across the payment and retention portfolio
- Collaborate cross-functionally to operationalize payment and purchase compliance requirements in consumer flows and customer communications
- Partner with Customer Care to design clear fair refund experiences and policies that balance user trust with operational efficiency
Were Excited If You Have
- 5 years of Product Management experience; consumer subscriptions/streaming experience strongly preferred
- Ability to engage deeply with Engineering on technical details to translate product requirements into scalable solutions; proven success delivering high-quality products on time
- Reputation as a strong collaborator who listens builds consensus makes clear decisions and writes thoughtful requirements
- Track record of executing plans end-to-end: driving alignment managing tradeoffs and unblocking teams to ship reliably
- Comfort with instrumentation and experimentation at scale: conversion churn payment success and partner health metrics
- Bonus: Proven track record shipping multi-country products: payments tax/VAT/compliance localization and partner onboarding at scale
- Bachelors degree (in Computer Science or a related technical field) MBA preferred
