Job Summary
Job Posting: X-Ray Technician (Travel Assignment)
Location: Morristown NJ 07960
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Bill Rate: $60-65.00/hr
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:00 PM and 3pm-11pm Monday Friday every other weekend
Additional: Every other weekend call required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality radiographic examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Position patients accurately to ensure optimal imaging and minimal radiation exposure.
- Operate radiology equipment ensuring proper safety and maintenance standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare staff to deliver efficient diagnostic services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation in the imaging system.
- Follow all regulatory and safety guidelines including radiation protection standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation every other weekend as required.
Qualifications
- Certified X-Ray Technician or ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist - Required
- Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray Tech experience - Preferred
- Experience in hospital or diagnostic imaging settings
- Strong knowledge of radiology equipment safety practices and imaging procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple patients in a shift
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
