Job Title: Biomanufacturing Technician (GMP)
Location: 4600 E. Shelby Dr. Suite 108 Memphis TN 38118 (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension
Pay Rate: $22.12/hr W2 all inclusive
Shift: Training 6:00 6:30 PM for 6 8 weeks; post-training shift 10:30am-11pm detailed below

2nd Shift Schedule (10:30 AM 11:00 PM)
This role follows a 2-2-3 rotational schedule meaning:
- You work 2 days on
- Followed by 2 days off
- Then 3 days on
- Then 2 days off
- Then 2 days on
- And finally 3 days off - with these 3 consecutive off-days falling on Friday Sunday.
This schedule repeats every two weeks and gives employees built-in extended breaks while maintaining consistent shift coverage.
Built-In Overtime (OT)
Due to the 2-2-3 structure employees naturally work:
- 48 hours one week and
- 36 hours the following week
Totaling 84 hours across a two-week pay period.
Any hours worked beyond 40 per week (such as during the 48-hour week) are compensated as overtime providing additional earning opportunities.
BASIC SUMMARY
The Biomanufacturing Technician I is responsible for performing various manufacturing activities related to the start-up and GMP production of novel cellular products ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and guidelines. This position requires the ability to work night shifts weekends and holidays and meet established physical requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain and maintain qualifications necessary for the performance of aseptic activities.
- Responsible for the production formulation and banking of cellular products (including GMP GDP and aseptic processing).
- Write under supervision GMP-required documents including standard operating procedures product specifications equipment specifications and batch production records.
- Provide support in validation efforts related to the manufacturing process.
- Participate in manufacturing activities including raw material support cell culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Consistently practice proper clean room behaviors and upkeep of clean room areas.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in a scientific field strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0 1 year of experience in biotech or cell therapy.
- May consider less education/experience upon completion of the employers internship program.
- Must be able to work in a clean room environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials blood tissues and needles.
- Must have ability to perform algebraic math.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
